Annie Wersching (March 28, 1977 - January 29 2023) Was an American actor best known for her role in the show Renee Walker in 24 and frequent appearances in a variety of television series including The Rookie Bosch and Timeless. Motion-capture and voice work was also employed for Tess who was the protagonist in Naughty Dog's The Last of Us. She was known for her appearances in TV programs like 24 Bosch, Timeless and other shows. The talented actress lost her battle with cancer at the age of 45. Wersching's passing, an immense loss for the industry of entertainment, came as a shock fans and colleagues alike. Her incredible performance will be appreciated and missed by those who loved her and the fans she adored. Despite her diagnosis in 2020 actress Annie Wersching refused to let get sick and worked in the entertainment industry. Star Trek featured her in several notable episodes. Picard is the Borg Queen in Season 2 in addition to appearing the role of The Rookie as a regular actor. Her talent extended to the world of gaming, lending her voice to Tess in the critically-acclaimed games The Last Of Us which was later turned into television shows by HBO. Wersching was a true professional, and an ardent performer her dedication and passion is missed.
